September 2015: Bayanzag"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Wir sind auf den ber\u00fcchtigten mongolischen Strassen unterwegs, das heisst, Strasse ist wohl \u00fcbertrieben, manchmal haben sogar die Hauptverbindungen kaum das Wort Piste verdient\u2026.<\/p>\n<p>Auf der Karte ist zwar jeweils eine grosse Strasse eingezeichnet, doch in Wirklichkeit sind es oft Dutzende von Fahrwegen auf einer Breite von manchmal mehreren Kilometern, die in eine Richtung f\u00fchren. Man w\u00e4hlt eine der Pisten in die gew\u00fcnschte Richtung, schlecht bis katastrophal sind sie meist alle\u2026;-). Doch je nach Topographie und Untergrund kommt man schneller oder langsamer vorw\u00e4rts, manchmal nur im Schritttempo, manchmal bis 60km\/h auf harter Wellblechpiste\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Es r\u00fcttelt uns sch\u00fcttelt und die Bandscheiben danken uns die luftgefederten Sitze ;-). Doch durch die Vibrationen und Schl\u00e4ge wird von Passagieren und Maschine alles abverlangt. Die Schrauben l\u00f6sen sich und alles was in der Wohnkabine nicht niet- und nagelfest festgemacht wurde, fliegt durch die L\u00fcfte. Es ist jedesmal eine \u00dcberraschung, wenn man die T\u00fcr zum Container \u00f6ffnet, was alles nach einer Fahrstrecke auf dem Boden liegt\u2026Inzwischen mache ich jedesmal wie eine Stewardess vor jeder Fahrt die Kontrollrunde: sind alle Schubladen geschlossen und verriegelt, Fenster geschlossen, Wasserpumpe und Elektrizit\u00e4t abgestellt und alles herumliegende verstaut?<\/p>\n<p>Die Orientierung im Gel\u00e4nde ist als Ortsunkundige recht schwierig, da Strassenschilder sozusagen nicht existieren, und man nie genau weiss, welche der vielen Pisten, die sternf\u00f6rmig aus einem Dorf f\u00fchren, nun die richtige ist\u2026Doch dank moderner Technik wie GPS und Satellitenkarten, konnten wir uns bis jetzt recht gut orientieren.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Wir sind nun im S\u00fcden der Mongolei, in der W\u00fcste Gobi angelangt. Die vorher so gr\u00fcne Steppe weicht einer trockenen W\u00fcstensteppe, wo nicht mehr viel w\u00e4chst. Die wenigen Gr\u00e4ser sind alle verstrocknet und es wachsen nur noch ein paar Str\u00e4ucher. Wir fahren hunderte von Kilometern in den S\u00fcden und begegnen nur vereinzelt anderen Fahrzeugen, ein paar Jurten und zwei Ortschaften auf einer Strecke von ungef\u00e4hr 500km.<\/p>\n<p>Bei Bayanzag endet die sonst flache Ebene abrupt und unvermittelt tut sich vor uns ein Abgrund auf. Orangefarbene Sandsteinfelsen bilden eine Art ausgewaschene Felswand, darunter geht die Ebene weiter. Vom Rand der Klippen hat man einen grandiosen Ausblick \u00fcber die Felsen und man f\u00fchlt sich ein bisschen an den Grand Canyon erinnert\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Wir finden mit dem Lasti einen Weg zwischen den Felsen durch auf die untere Ebene, wo wir zwischen Felsbrocken, skurrilen Felsformationen, Ger\u00f6ll und Sand ein gem\u00fctliches Pl\u00e4tzchen finden mit Blick auf die Klippen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Jungs sind im Schaufelparadies und wer weiss- vielleicht f\u00f6rdern sie noch ein Dinosaurierskelett zutage?! Die Gegend hier ist eine der weltweit \u00e4ltesten und gr\u00f6ssten Saurierfundstellen.<\/p>\n<p>Im Liegestuhl geniessen wir bei Sonnenuntergang das Farbenspiel in einmaliger Kulisse: die Felsen leuchten in allen Rot-und Orangeschattierungen, was ihnen auch den Namen \u201eFlaming Cliffs\u201c gebracht hat.<\/p>\n<p>Nachts bewundern wir den phantastischen Sternenhimmel und diese wunderbare Stille und Einsamkeit mitten in der W\u00fcste!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"metaslider-id-830\" style=\"max-width: 800px;\" class=\"ml-slider-3-113-0 metaslider metaslider-flex metaslider-830 ml-slider has-dots-nav ms-theme-default\" role=\"region\" aria-label=\"Bayanzag\" data-height=\"500\" data-width=\"800\">\n    <div id=\"metaslider_container_830\">\n        <div id=\"metaslider_830\">\n            <ul class='slides'>\n                <li style=\"display: block;
