9. April:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Die Strasse nach Samarkand ist f\u00fcr eine Hauptverbindungsstrasse in einem relativ schlechten Zustand.<\/p>\n

Wir erreichen die alte Seidenstrassenstadt am Nachmittag und das angesteuerte Guest House liegt direkt in der N\u00e4he des Registans in einer relativ ruhigen Nebenstrasse. Wir k\u00f6nnen auf dem Parkplatz \u00fcbernachten, bekommen aber\u00a0 ein Zimmer mit heisser Dusche und Registration. Die Zimmer liegen um einen gem\u00fctlichen,\u00a0 gr\u00fcnen Innenhof. Wir schl\u00fcrfen Tee, w\u00e4hrend wir auf den Tapchans in den weichen Sitzkissen liegen und den Jungs beim Spielen zusehen\u2026;-).<\/p>\n

Im Licht der Abendsonne besichtige ich mit den Jungs den Registan, die Hauptsehensw\u00fcrdigkeit Samarkands. Die drei Medresen aus der Zeit Timurs sind beeindruckend!<\/p>\n

10. April:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Seit langem begegnen wir wieder einmal anderen reisenden. Und wir stellen fest, dass wir nicht die einzigen sind, die kein Turkmenistan- Visum erhalten haben\u2026<\/p>\n

Wir machen einen Bummel durch die Stadt, besichtigen die Bibi Chanum Moschee, eine der gr\u00f6ssten Moscheen zu Timurs Zeiten, die trotz Restaurierungsversuchen langsam zur Ruine zerf\u00e4llt\u2026Die schiere Gr\u00f6sse schien die damaligen Bauf\u00e4higkeiten zu \u00fcbersteigen, Erdbeben taten ihr \u00dcbriges\u2026<\/p>\n

Wir schlendern durch den farbenfrohen Siyob- Bazar, wo es bunt und lebhaft zu und her geht\u2026<\/p>\n

In der Gr\u00e4berstadt Shah-i-Sinda bewundern wir die f\u00fcr die timuridische Baukunst typischen\u00a0 Mosaike aus blau-t\u00fcrkis farbenen Keramikkacheln. Ich kann mich dabei fast nicht sattsehen\u2026!<\/p>\n

12. April:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nach den stressigen Tagen letzter Woche gehen wir es nun entspannter an und beschliessen deshalb, nicht weiter nach Buchara zu fahren\u2026 Stattdessen geniessen wir lieber noch zwei ruhige Tage in Samarkand. Vor allem auch die Kinder sind froh, nicht st\u00e4ndig \u201eon the road\u201c zu sein und Zeit zum Spielen zu haben..<\/p>\n

Wir besichtigen noch die eine oder andere Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeit in Samarkand wie das Gur Emir Mausoleum und verbringen die restliche Zeit im Innenhof des Guest Houses, wo die Kinder spielen k\u00f6nnen, w\u00e4hrend wir uns mit anderen Reisenden austauschen oder den Blog aktualisieren\u2026;-)<\/p>\n
